NFL's Dallas Cowboys moving offices from Irving to Frisco
FRISCO,[url=http://www.chronotime.net/]christian louboutin discount[/url], Texas, Aug. 13 () -- The Dallas Cowboys said Tuesday they will move their headquarters and training facilities to Frisco, Texas, about 30 miles from the current offices in Irving.The Cowboys and officials of the Frisco Independent School District announced the move Tuesday, saying the development is to be ready by fall 2016."This is an exciting day in the history of the Dallas Cowboys," team owner Jerry Jones said. "We are committed to cooperatively creating a development that will be a source of great pride for the city of Frisco, the FISD and the Dallas Cowboys."We know firsthand how world-class facilities can create great interest, visibility and economic development. This is a community building partnership that will elevate and benefit all of the parties involved."The team said the complex will be on a 91-acre site in Collin County north of Dallas. The area will include a multipurpose, 12,000-season indoor stadium and two outdoor fields that can be used by the Cowboys, the city of Frisco and Frisco ISD for athletic and entertainment events. The project is expected to cost about $115 million.The Cowboys will also move their administrative and coaches' offices to the location.Under terms of a 25-year agreement, the Cowboys must have at least one week a year of their pre-season training camp in Frisco.The Cowboys have had their in-season training facility at Valley Ranch in Irving since 1985. They play their home games at Texas Stadium in Arlington, about 40 miles from Frisco. |
