St. Louis Rams distance themselves from Ty Nsekhe's Twitter comment
ST. LOUIS, Sept. 24 () -- The St. Louis Rams distanced themselves, in a statement Tuesday, from a comment by former Rams tackle Ty Nsekhe disrespectful of the military.Responding to a Twitter observation, "Hard to believe that a player in a helmet defendin' a football makes more money than a soldier in a helmet defendin' his country," Nsekhe said, "It doesn't take much skill to kill someone."The remarks were deleted after they appeared, but The Washington Times publish a "screenshot," or photograph of a computer screen showing both Twitter comments. The Rams' statement identifies Nsekhe as a former player, having been released by the team Aug. 31, who "no longer has any affiliation with the St. Louis Rams," and referred to his "reprehensible comments toward our military." The statement expressed gratitude for "the sacrifices our military and their families make in order to defend our freedom."Nsekhe played in two games for the Rams last season, christian louboutin men, the Los Angeles Times reported.
