The Texas Legends and The Salvation Army have partnered as the Legends' players will wear unique "The Salvation Army" uniforms on Jan. 12, versus the Austin Toros. "This is an opportunity to not only continue to raise awareness about The Salvation Army, but also to thank our many volunteers who work overtime through the Christmas season," commented DFW Commander Major Ward Matthews. "While the Dallas Cowboys' game on Thanksgiving traditionally marks the beginning of our season of giving, this Texas Legends' game represents a thank you to all of those who have served through the Holiday season." The Legends will wear customized jerseys celebrating The Salvation Army, uniquely branded with both the Legends logo and The Salvation Army. As part of the festivities of the night, select individuals from The Salvation Army will be recognized as "Legends of the Night." - The Erie Bayhawks (10-6) defeated the Texas Legends (11-6) 86-83 to conclude the four-day D-League Showcase on Jan. 10.
