In the current report, manufacturing growth was pegged at 0.4 percent following a 0.2 percent decline in the first quarter. The ONS said the GDP is still recovering from the sharp declines of 2008 and 2009.From the pre-recession peak to its recessionary low, the British economy shrank 7.2 percent, the ONS said.
