LONDON,True Religion Outlet Store, Sept. 3 () -- The Purchasing Managers Index for British construction indicated business grew in August at the fastest rate since the fall of 2007, Markit Economics said.Markit said the sector's PMI rose from 57,The north face jackets outlet, well above the break-even point of 50, to 59.1, which indicates growth at the fastest pace since September 2007.Construction companies "widely reported that the latest upturn in business activity was supported by a strong improvement in spending among clients,The north face jackets cheap," Markit said Tuesday. The gains came from private and public spending, the report said.Respondents to a monthly survey indicated that there was "generally ... higher levels of house-related demand and greater levels of public sector infrastructure spending," Markit said."The latest Construction PMI figures are yet another indication that the U.K. economy has performedimpressively over the summer months. A steep upturn in civil engineering activity suggested that public sector demand has joined residential building as a key driver of construction output growth during August," said senior Markit economist Tim Moore in a statement.
