An average wind farm has a lifespan of about 20 years."This government is focused on supporting the growth of local and community ownership of renewable energy so that communities can share the rewards of Scotland's vast natural resources," Sturgeon said in a statement.Scotland aims to generate 100 percent of its electricity needs through renewables by 2020.
