Miami (Ohio) students allegedly hacked computers, changed grades
OXFORD, Ohio, March 26 () -- Two college students in Ohio were expelled and face criminal charges after allegedly hacking professors' computers to change their grades, the school said.Officials at Miami University in Oxford,Christian Louboutin Men, Ohio, said Beckley Parker, 21,Louboutin Outlet, is charged with six counts of attempted unauthorized use of property. David Callahan, 22,Christian Louboutin Sale, is charged with four counts of attempted unauthorized use of property. The school's information technology department and university police were alerted to the scam by a professor who reviewed grades online that did not match her paper records, a university spokeswoman told the Hamilton (Ohio) Journal News Monday.Parker and Callahan allegedly used keystroke loggers installed illicitly on classroom computers to gain login and password information from professors. They then used the information to go in and change their grades -- and those of as many as 50 other students in an effort to cover their tracks, police said.School officials said the two were expelled for "academic dishonesty" -- a charge that would be listed on their transcripts.
