NTT Solmare Pushes Digital Manga,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych]
More manga is soon to be due on the iPad as the device goes more international and publishers around the world take a new approach to their properties, the kind of approach that some fans have been asking about for quite awhile. According to this and this press release from NTT Solmare, they're expanding to both the Kindle and the iPad in the next few days by offering some select titles in English language form.
The company has worked other digital forms of manga for awhile now and is moving into new forms with a mild overseas push. When talking about their overall accomplishments,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], the press release indicates that "[f]or 5 consecutive years,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], Japan Number 1 mobile comics site offers more than 30,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych],000 titles (400,000 stories). Has recently achieved 700million downloads for paid contents alone."
With the iPad,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], NTT Solmare has indicated that it will be launching with these titles and pricing (though pricing of course will be adjusted to local currencies):

According to a piece from Anime News Network back in February, NTT is looking to be really active in its overseas offerings.
