Searching for laptop for schoolwork etc
Hi,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], i have had my very own pc for around a year along with a bit now,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], however i am going into A levels the coming year and thought it would be a good idea to buy laptop too, in order i possibly could focus on the go and have quick access to data basically should need it. It might,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], whether it survives!,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], be considered a useful/essential tool at university
Budget: sub £400?? prepared to stretch to £500 if a good one comes up
Mobility: I'd like a reasonably mobile laptop and battery life is pretty important as i'd be utilising in other locations than home along with a power supply could not be guarrenteed
Durability: pretty durable,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], to cope with everyday school stress!!!
Multitasking: not massively multitasking,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], mainly word processing and powerpointing
Gaming: not likely to use it like a gaming machine,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], Fs possibly? but thats unlikely,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], ignore if not able to meet other criterion!
Storage: mainly word documents,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], music along with other office files,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], maybe searching for 120gb to be safe
Optical Media: will probably need ability to burn Cd's but not DVDs
Operating System: i'd prefer Xp, but i know thats tricky to find now, Vista otherwise but an amount be ideal will be the power to connect with an area home wireless network and also the school network
