cast vs boot for broken foot,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych]
because i freaked by helping cover their the cast on my broken foot - i have big black boot - i beleive it's called a walking boot - is there any dif between a boot and a cast on a broken foot - i still need to keep my foot from touching the ground and i am doing that - but i still can wiggle my foot and i wonder if that's not good - would a cast prevent any movement whatsoever - or really are a boot and a cast pretty similar,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych]. i wish i could have kept the cast on - i wonder if it would ave helped my foot heal faster,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych].
A walking boot is made to give a specific amount of stability to an injured foot. A cast tends to be more rigid and unwielding. A doctor typically wouldn't allow a change to a boot unless for you personally whether boot or a cast would be suitable alternatives. Which bones were fractured? Sometimes whether boot or perhaps a cast are equally stabilizing (except that your pals cannot sign a boot as quickly as a cast!) When the cast was too cumbersome,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], or felt too confining,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], a walking boot may be a suitable alternative - so long as you stick to your doctor's instructions regarding standing and walking,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], and foot care. The boot may need that you are more deliberately adherent to the doctor's instructions as it is technically a removable device. Please adhere strictly for your doctor's instructions,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], so that the outcome might be just as positive just like you had kept the cast.
