Anthony accepts the fried butter challenge,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych]
All joking aside,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], and speaking as somebody who isn't above trying the new fried experiments presented for fair season every year,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], this is the best look at what a fried stick of butter actually is that I have seen.
In most cases the fry-basket freakshow of the season usually tastes like itself but with fry batter on it. I am talking about, fried Oreos virtually just tastes like Oreos but with fry stuff onto it. It isn't like frying includes a significant transformative effect on the flavor. Same with fried Snickers,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], although I have yet to locate fried beer,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], which appears like it might need to be its taste.
Even though watching the remains from the butter stick glop from the middle of Anthony's "brunch" is a little stomach turning, I'm actually interested in using the fried butter now that I have seen it. I was expecting so that it is more literally like biting a stick of butter with batter on the exterior. Whether it's just a really buttery pancake with sugar on top,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], I'm in!
(And don't pretend like you never drank the melted butter from the corn-on-the-cob dish,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych]. There's totally a spot for butter drinking within the respectable selection of the gross/palatable scale.)
Cynicism alert: This post is off topic,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], and a pure theory: The Bush folks are deliberately trying to sabotage Perry's campaign just because a win for Perry in 2012 would put a significant wrinkle in Jeb Bush's 2016 presidential campaign. If Obama's presidential re-election is a shoe-in,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], Jeb Bush will ride in a 2016 wave of rabid Republicanist hatred. Conversely, if Perry wins the 2012 presidential election,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], the Republican party eats itself alive, and 2016 is really a Democratic win. This is a purely diabolical,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], and cynical approach through the Bush family.
being in the South,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], it'd be difficult to not enjoy some fried food, but nothing really for the sake of frying it, a la fried butter; i believe fried cheese sticks is the friediest thing i'd have. oh, and i have had fried green tomatoes once. everything jogs my memory a little bit of Homer Simpson's moon waffles,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], puts it on a toothpick and devours it.
or in what of David Spade from 'Tommy Boy',[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], "ugh! i'm able to hear you getting fatter."
but was that a slightly sarcastic or sardonic tone in Anthony's voice when he says he had to obtain 'a pop'? if that's the case,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], he's my kinda guy. Smile (tho i actually do like the longer hair he had when at TRMS,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], but it is the campaign trail so what're ya gonna do?)
and can,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], drinking a little bit of butter run-off from corn-on-the-cob is a thing, a whole stick of butter is something else entirely. personally,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], however, i would generally sop it up with a few bread.
hmm, 'a whole stick of butter'. i a lot like that phrase like a descriptor for something which is fascinatingly disgusting,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], or maybe when you have too much of something even tho it may be good,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], an excessive amount of a good thing. Smile
