ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 4 () -- VSE Corp.is to continue to provide some of its support services to the U.S. Army Reserve Command and will rehire laid off workers to do so.The workers – about 350 – were let go by the Virginia-headquartered company when the original General Services Administration contract for equipment, engineering, maintenance and logistics readiness services terminated in July. The continuation of some services to the Army Reserve Command comes through a task order under a recently won Rapid Response Third Generation (R2-3G) prime contract."We are very pleased that the dedicated employees of our Federal Group will be able to continue their equipment sustainment services in field locations across the United States," said VSE's Federal Group President Donnelle Moten.
