There used to be a time when people remembered what the depression did even to the wealthy. You couldn't just eat chocolate until you puked and you didn't spend 15,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych],000 dollars for dinner and drinks. What's that site with all the kids who post pics of their ridiculous toys and tabs? Rich kids of instagram? Now people will pay anything for image and to sooth their egotistical need for confirmation of 'self worth as they have not accomplished much or it is not full filling to them.
