10K reward for information leading to arrests in Bay area Giants fan beating case,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych]
La County Supervisor Mike Antonovich announced the reward Saturday while the victim remained in critical but stable condition at LA County-University of Southern California Hospital.
Bryan Stow,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], 42,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], was placed in a medically induced coma for brain injuries sustained after two unknown men beat him following a Dodgers' 2-1 win Thursday night.
Investigators were also checking to ascertain if any security cameras captured the attack,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], but detective Larry Burcher said they'd so far found "nothing of great value."
Police said Stow was struck in the back of the top by two men wearing Dodgers' clothing,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych]. After he fell to the pavement the men continued kicking and hitting him,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych].
"It's sad,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych]," Giants manager Bruce Bochy said as the teams returned Friday. "It's unfortunate somebody's in critical condition due to a pastime. "It is very unfortunate this incident took place on what was otherwise an excellent trip to Dodger Stadium for thousands of fans,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych]," the Dodgers said in a statement. "We're devoted to having the most fan and family-friendly environment in baseball and will keep that a main concern."
